State Farm Canada one of Greater Toronto’s Top 75 Employers North America’s largest mutual insurer recognized for its employee experience
Aurora, Ontario. October 20, 2008 -- State Farm Canada is proud to be recognized as one of the Greater Toronto Area’s Top 75 Employers for 2009.
The prestigious “Greater Toronto's Top 75 Employers 2009” list is compiled by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the nation's largest publisher of employment guides and job-hunting periodicals, and is in association with the definitive national list, “Canada's Top 100 Employers”.
For the past 9 years Mediacorp has sorted through the annual recruitment practices of more than 75,000 employers across Canada to create this collection of the best places to work. It aims to identify the companies and organizations that lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees.
Employers completed an extensive application process that included a detailed review of their operations and human resources practices. Mediacorp also examined charitable efforts and community involvement. A strong correlation has been observed between charitable work and how an employer treats its own employees.
