State Farm invites you to get on your bike and ride!

Ride All Day for United Way to take place at State Farm Canada head office

Aurora, Ontario.  June 02, 2011.  – State Farm Canada’s head office will be the scene this weekend for 12-hours of fun-filled bike riding in support of the first annual Ride All Day For United Way. This charitable ride goes on Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Everyone is welcome; individuals, families, business and corporate teams can ride for up to 12 hours, completing as many laps as possible on the beautiful 1.2 kilometre course in front of the State Farm Aurora Operations Centre.

“It’s our pleasure to provide the use of our facilities for this fantastic charity event,” says Barbara Bellissimo, State Farm Senior Vice President and Chief Agent. “State Farm has a strong history of partnering with the United Way and we’re excited to host bike riders from all over the community as we raise funds together for the great work the United Way does each day.”

“RealDeal Racing is proud to present the first Ride All Day for United Way cycling event,” says Ed Veal, President of RealDeal Racing and the event’s coordinator. “It’s going to be great to see so many riders having fun and participating, all in support of a wonderful cause. It’s an event that will surely be memorable, and will make a great difference in the community.”

Please don’t feel you have to ride the full 12 hours. The idea is to ride as much as you like in as creative, or as leisurely a fashion as you like. The event is sanctioned by the Ontario Cycling Association and accommodates riders of all abilities.
